The Carver is the only car in the world designed with two rear wheels and one front with the only exclusive patented chassis rotation curve called DVC (Dynamic Vehicle Control).
Due to its length and its innovative design can be considered a mixture of car, motorcycle and aircraft.
Transmits the same sensations that a fighter jet in motion, very similar also a high-powered motorcycle but with the stability of a great sport. All this thanks to the rotation of the chassis.
DVC system (Vehicle Dynamic Control)
The DVC system is the only electro-hydraulic system that allows rotation of a curved frame designed for a land vehicle.
Heir of aeronautical engineering and explained in a very basic, the system starts working when you turn the steering wheel to a curve.
By the time you turn the steering wheel, the chassis begins to rotate with the same sensitivity as the pilot wants, that is, if the driver wants to turn quickly tilt the chassis with as quickly as you turn the wheel while that if you make slow, the chassis is tilted slowly.
The DVC consists of a hydraulic pump which is connected to the engine. combined with an accumulator, the pressurization system is maintained close to 120 bars. The spin valve transmits the rotation between the steering wheel and front wheel thanks to the 2 hydraulic cylinders. The movement of these 2 cylinders determines the position of the vehicle. These 2 cylinders there is an electrical sensor, that is what will determine the inclination of the chassis as steering wheel movement.
To avoid turbulence in the chassis due to the impact of the road, there is a speed sensor, which activates a valve to prevent uncontrolled movement of vibration acting as a filter. The system stops working less than 10 km / h.
The DVC allows us a curve traced by very high because the forces cancel drift typical of a vehicle driving very fast curve. Due to such a low center of gravity which is reached by the motor position, stability also increases considerably.
The maximum angle at which it arrives DVC system is 45 degrees from the vertical.
